COMO “HABIB ULLAH” 

SH. IBN UZAYMIN e IBN TAYMIA

بسم الله والحمد لله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله ، وبعد

Es común oír la frase “Habib ullah” referiéndose al Profeta صلى الله عليه و سلم, sin embargo ¿qué precisión tiene esta afirmación?

Sheikh ibn ul-Uzaymin رحمه الله responde:

«El Profeta صلى الله عليه و سلم es, sin duda, "habib ullah" [amado de Allah], ya que en efecto él ama Allah y es amado por Allah, no obstante hay una descripción superior y mejor que esta, y es decir “Khalil ullah”. Ya que ciertamente el Profeta صلى الله عليه و سلم es el khalil de Allah como cita el hadiz, "Verdaderamente Allah me ha tomado como khalil al igual que tomó a Ibrahim como khalil.

Por tanto, el que describe al Profeta صلى الله عليه و سلم como “habib ullah” en realidad le ha صلى الله عليه و سلم bajado su estatus, porque “khalil” es mayor y superior a “habib”, ya que se puede decir de todos los creyentes que son los “habib” de Allah, pero el Profeta صلى الله عليه و سلم  está en una posición más alta que esa, y esta es la posición de ser el “khalil” [lo cual es un grado mayor de amor que habib].»

Igualmente, Sheikh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiah رحمه الله mencionó, «La afirmación de algunas de las personas sobre que Muhammad صلى الله عليه و سلم es “habib ullah” y que Ibrahim عليه السلام  es “khalil ullah”, creyendo que “habib” es un amor mayor que “khalil” es una declaración débil, más bien el Profeta صلى الله عليه و سلم es khalil ullah».
