El Hadith de las Once Mujeres

Muslim narró el siguiente Hadith:
Isnad: Suleiman bin Abd alRahman y Ali bin Hujr; Ibsai bin Bunus; Hisham bin Urwa; Abd Allah bin Urwah; Urwah.

Narró Aishah (رضي الله عنها):
Once mujeres se sentaron (en un lugar) y prometieron y acordaron que ellas no ocultarían nada de las noticias de sus esposos.

La primera dijo: “Mi esposo es como la carne de un camello magro y débil la cual es guardada en la cima de la montaña la cual no es fácil de escalar, ni es de la carne gorda, así que uno podría levantarla con el problema de ir a buscarla”.

La segunda dijo: “Yo no debería relatar las noticias de mi esposo, porque temo que yo no pueda ser capaz de finalizar su historia, porque si yo lo describo, yo mencionaré todos sus defectos y malos tratos”.

La tercera dijo: “Mi esposo es un hombre alto; si yo lo describo a él (y él oye acerca de eso) él me divorciará, y si yo me quedo callada, él ni me divorciará ni me tratará como a una esposa”.

La cuarta dijo: “Mi esposo es una persona moderada como la noche de Tihama la cual no es ni caliente ni fría. Yo no estoy asustada de él, ni estoy descontenta con él”.

La quinta dijo: “Mi esposa, cuando entra (en la casa) es un leopardo, y cuando sale, es un león. Él no pregunta acerca de cualquier cosa que está en la casa”.

La sexta dijo: “Si mi esposo come, él come demasiado (dejando los trastos vacíos) y si él bebe no deja nada, y si él duerme, duerme solo (lejos de mí) cubierto en prendas y no estrecha sus manos aquí y allá, como para saber qué tanto (me acerco)”.

La séptima dijo: “Mi esposo es un malhechor o débil y tonto. Todos los defectos están presentes en él. Él puede lastimar tu cabeza o tu cuerpo o puede ser que ambos”.

La octava dijo: “Mi esposo es suave al tacto como un conejo y huele como un Zarnab (una clase de pasto que huele bien).

La novena dijo: “Mi esposo es un hombre alto generoso que viste un largo cinturón para cargar su espada. Sus cenizas son abundantes y su casa está cerca para la gente quien fácilmente lo consultaría”.

La décima dijo: “Mi esposo es Malik y ¿qué el Malik? Malik es más grande de lo que cualquier cosa que yo pueda decir de él. (Él está mas allá y más arriba de todas las alabanzas las cuales puedan venir a mi mente) la mayoría de sus camellos están guardados en casa (listos para ser sacrificados para los invitados) y solamente unos pocos son tomados para pastar. Cuando los camellos escuchan el sonido del laúd (o el tamborín) ellos saben que ellos van a ser sacrificados para los invitados”.

La onceava dijo: “Mi esposo es Abu Zar y ¿qué es Abu Zar (qué debería yo decir acerca de él? Él me ha dado muchos ornamentos y mis oídos están pesadamente cargados con ellos y mis brazos se han vuelto gordos (yo me he vuelto gorda). Y él me ha complacido y él me ha vuelto tan feliz que yo me siento orgullosa de mí mismo. Él me encontró con mi familia quienes eran meros poseedores de una oveja y vivían en la pobreza; y me trajo a una familia respetada que tenía caballos y camellos y grano trillado y puro. Cualquier cosa que diga, él no se burla ni me insulta. Cuando duermo, duermo hasta tarde en la mañana, y cuando bebo agua (o leche), bebo hasta llenarme. La madre de Abu Zar y ¿qué uno pueda decir en alabanza de la madre de Abu Zar? Sus bolsas en las sillas de montar siempre estaban llenas de provisión y su casa era espaciosa. Como para el hijo de Abu Zar ¿qué puede uno decir del hijo de Abu Zar? Su cama es tan estrecha como una espada desenvainada y una pata de un cabrito (de cuatro meses) satisface su hambre. Como para la hija de Abu Zar, ella es obediente para con su padre y su madre. Ella tenía un cuerpo bien construido y que despierta los celos de la otra esposa de su esposo. Como para la (sirvienta) esclava de Abu Zar ¿qué puede uno decir de la (sirvienta) esclava de Abu Zar? Ella no descubre nuestros secretos sino que los guarda, y ella no gasta nuestras provisiones y no deja la basura esparcida en cualquier lado en nuestra casa”. La onceava dama añadió: “Un día sucedió que Abu Zar salió al tiempo cuando la leche estaba siendo ordeñada de los animales, y él vio a una mujer quien tenía dos hijos como dos leopardos con sus dos pechos. (Al verla) él me divorció y se casó con ella. Por lo tanto yo me casé con un hombre noble quien acostumbraba un rápido e incansable caballo y guardar una lanza en su mano. Él me dio muchas cosas y también un par de cada clase de ganado y dijo: “Come (de esto), oh Um Zar, y da provisión a tus padres”. Ella añadió: “Aún, todas las cosas las cuales mi segundo esposo me dio podrían llenar el utensilio más pequeño de Abu Zar”. Aishah entonces dijo: “El Apóstol de Alláh me dijo: “Yo soy para ti como Abu Zar era para su esposa Um Zar” ”.

Narrated 'Aisha:

Eleven women sat (at a place) and promised and contracted that they would not conceal anything of the news of their husbands.

The first one said, "My husband is like the meat of a lean weak camel which is kept on the top of a mountain which is neither easy to climb, nor is the meat fat, so that one might put up with the trouble of fetching it."

The second one said, "I shall not relate my husband's news, for I fear that I may not be able to finish his story, for if I describe him, I will mention all his defects and bad traits."

The third one said, "My husband is a tall man; if I describe him (and he hears of that) he will divorce me, and if I keep quiet, he will neither divorce me nor treat me as a wife."

The fourth one said, "My husband is a moderate person like the night of Tihama which is neither hot nor cold. I am neither afraid of him, nor am I discontented with him."

The fifth one said, "My husband, when entering (the house) is a leopard, and when going out, is a lion. He does not ask about whatever is in the house."

The sixth one said, "If my husband eats. he eats too much (leaving the dishes empty), and if he drinks he leaves nothing, and if he sleeps he sleeps alone (away from me) covered in garments and does not stretch his hands here and there so as to know how I fare (get along)."

The seventh one said, "My husband is a wrong-doer or weak and foolish. All the defects are present in him. He may injure your head or your body or may do both."

The eighth one said, "My husband is soft to touch like a rabbit and smells like a Zarnab (a kind of good smelling grass)."

The ninth one said, "My husband is a tall generous man wearing a long strap for carrying his sword. His ashes are abundant and his house is near to the people who would easily consult him."

The tenth one said, "My husband is Malik, and what is Malik? Malik is greater than whatever I say about him. (He is beyond and above all praises which can come to my mind). Most of his camels are kept at home (ready to be slaughtered for the guests) and only a few are taken to the pastures. When the camels hear the sound of the lute (or the tambourine) they realize that they are going to be slaughtered for the guests."

The eleventh one said, "My husband is Abu Zar and what is Abu Zar (i.e., what should I say about him)? He has given me many ornaments and my ears are heavily loaded with them and my arms have become fat (i.e., I have become fat). And he has pleased me, and I have become so happy that I feel proud of myself. He found me with my family who were mere owners of sheep and living in poverty, and brought me to a respected family having horses and camels and threshing and purifying grain . Whatever I say, he does not rebuke or insult me. When I sleep, I sleep till late in the morning, and when I drink water (or milk), I drink my fill. The mother of Abu Zar and what may one say in praise of the mother of Abu Zar? Her saddle bags were always full of provision and her house was spacious. As for the son of Abu Zar, what may one say of the son of Abu Zar? His bed is as narrow as an unsheathed sword and an arm of a kid (of four months) satisfies his hunger. As for the daughter of Abu Zar, she is obedient to her father and to her mother. She has a fat well-built body and that arouses the jealousy of her husband's other wife. As for the (maid) slave girl of Abu Zar, what may one say of the (maid) slavegirl of Abu Zar? She does not uncover our secrets but keeps them, and does not waste our provisions and does not leave the rubbish scattered everywhere in our house." The eleventh lady added, "One day it so happened that Abu Zar went out at the time when the milk was being milked from the animals, and he saw a woman who had two sons like two leopards playing with her two breasts. (On seeing her) he divorced me and married her. Thereafter I married a noble man who used to ride a fast tireless horse and keep a spear in his hand. He gave me many things, and also a pair of every kind of livestock and said, 'Eat (of this), O Um Zar, and give provision to your relatives." She added, "Yet, all those things which my second husband gave me could not fill the smallest utensil of Abu Zar's." 'Aisha then said: Allah's Apostle said to me, "I am to you as Abu Zar was to his wife Um Zar."
